Surface Conditions:
Wind speeds: Like Jupiter and Saturn, Neptune has its own internal energy source, radiating more heat then the sun. Because of that Neptune’s surface winds reach extremely high speeds. Winds speeds have reached 1200 (200km) per hour. For that neptune has one of the highest wind speeds in the solar system!
Temperature Ranges: Neptune is one of the coldest planets. At it's surface Neptune can reach as low as 50o Kelvin(or 50o above absolute zero) although the main temperature of the planet is 73oK (-200 Celsius) Did you know that temperatures at the south pole are - 10C warmer than the rest of the planet because it's currently tilted toward the sun?
Surface Pressure: There are two main layers or regions, the stratosphere and the thermosphere. The stratosphere gives way to the thermosphere at a pressure lower than 10-5 to 10-4 micro-bars.
Weather: Neptune has a dark spot like Jupiter. That dark spot is a big storm. So Neptune has a lot of storms. Also Neptune's wind speed is very high, because it has a internal energy source, which gives off more radiation then the sun.
